SYNOPSIS:
After a 14 year hiatus from the Fringe, the original draft of EGGSHELLS (2025 Fringe) was 3.5 Hours long. Obviously a lot of material had to hit the cutting room floor. Amongst that was a good portion of trying to rebuild ones self after divorce and comedically navigating the world of online dating. Instead of sweeping it under a rug to never be seen again, it was repurposed, refined and expanded to what you see here. LOOKING FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WEIRD PLACES combines self growth, mental rebuilding and just trying to find that self confidence most need to succeed in life.

Joel Passante: Writer/Director/Producer/Star
Born and raised in the North end of Winnipeg, Joel discovered his love for theatre and performing at a young age and never looked back. Honing his skills by assisting in numerous fringe, TV and Film productions he took time off to raise a family returning back to the stage last summer. In his spare time Joel enjoys fishing, cooking, watching wrestling, collecting various forms of retro games/toys/movies, streams on twitch and running numerous TTRPG adventures as a Forever DM.
